Terms of use
What this covers
De Coureur is a game for iPhone. These terms apply to using that app and this website. By using the app you agree to them.
Alongside these terms, Apple's standard licence agreement for end users applies, as it does to every app in the App Store: Apple Standard End User License Agreement. Where the two contradict each other about the licence itself, Apple's prevails.
What you may do
The app is for personal use. Play it as often as you like, share your result wherever you like, and write about it without asking.
What you may not do
- Rebuild the app or its data into a competing game.
- Systematically extract or resell the database behind the game.
- Make the app or the website unusable for others.
Today's puzzle is free
That is not a temporary offer but a starting point: the daily puzzle stays free, with or without a subscription. A subscription never unlocks today's puzzle.
The subscription
De Coureur Pro is a recurring subscription that unlocks the archive, practice mode and detailed statistics. It runs through your Apple account:
- Payment is charged when the purchase is confirmed.
- It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You cancel in your Apple account settings, not in the app.
- Refunds go through Apple; we cannot process them.
About the data in the game
The rider data is compiled and maintained by hand. It is updated regularly, but it will contain mistakes — cycling is old and the sources disagree with each other. If you spot one, please report it through the contact page; that is the fastest way the data gets better.
The game uses no photographs of riders.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working and the data correct, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or flawless data. Liability is limited to what the law mandates.
Applicable law
Belgian law applies to these terms. Your consumer rights in your country of residence remain fully in force.
